1970 914/4 converted to a 914/6 GT tribute. The Porsche factory modified a few of these vehicles to run in endurance races and rallies. The most well known result was probably the 1970 Le Mans where car no. 40 finished 6th overall ahead of the factory 911s…! This car features a strengthened chassis and roll cage, 2.2l air cooled 911 engine, many period correct modifications and details. Originally completed in 2017, has seen 12k miles since then. Owner did all the work including engine rebuild - but not the paint and roll cage :-) The color is a 1974 911 option - very 70s! It’s very green.
